The next question "can i come by flight?"
Even after being a student joined in for Sustainable Architecture I did not think for a second how much energy will I be consuming for my travel to Cochin from Ahmedabad will be.
The reason I think is responsible for the irresponsibility is the reasons like Economic Affordability, Security and Travel Time (especially when you are travelling alone).
In an ideal condition the emotions and energy levels should be balanced
As of till now I have given my importance to emotions rather than energy as I always thought that the energy is not going to affect me directly unlike emotions
But now once I realize that my lifestyle is affecting indirectly back at me through global warming
This made me think of my list of Air travel from April 2010 - August 2011

- COK - DEL (2048 kms)
- DEL - COK (2048 kms)
- COK -DXB (2783 kms)
- DXB - IXE (2461 kms)
- TRV - DXB (2947 kms)
- DXB - CCJ (2676 kms)
- CCJ - BOM (944 kms)
- BOM - CCJ (944 kms)
- COK - MAA (519 kms)
- MAA - CCU (1384 kms)
- CCU - MAA (1384 kms)
- COK - DXB (2783 kms)
- DXB - AMD (1769 kms)
- BOM - COK (1063 kms)
- AMD - BOM (444 kms)
- BOM - COK (1063 kms)
- COK - BOM (1063 kms)
- BOM - AMD (444 kms)
total CO2 emission accounts to 6866 lbs
there is a mistake in the calculations.... the CO2 emmissions showed here are for a trip with complete passengers... hence in the case of train the values will be divided by approx 2000 whereas flights will need to be divided by 100-200....
